Almost 56 years later, Holly Golightly can finally have her diamonds and breakfast too! On Nov 10, 2017, fans of the iconic movie and lovers of Tiffany’s brand made their way up to the forth floor of the flagship location in Manhattan just to get a peek at the new restaurant, Blue Box Café.
Yes you read that correctly, the blue box brand has finally gave us what our inner glam girl has been dying for. What’s on the menu you ask? Well for starters, the menu is set up into 3 main sections: Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Lunch and Tiffany Tea where each serving time is a set price. Breakfast will cost you $29 that includes coffee or tea with choice of 4 different breakfast options. If you rather lunch, they have a starter and main course set up for $39 where you can indulge in the Charles Lewis Tiffany or CLT Club Sandwich or maybe the Fifth Avenue Salad if your looking for a lighter portion. Lastly, Tiffany Tea is served like a platter style with assorted teas, finger sandwiches and sweets all for $49.
The decor of this restaurant is in classic Tiffany’s fashion, Tiffany Blue everywhere! I am so in LOVE with the cool tones and the old diner feel. It such a rich yet classic touch in which the brand is known for. The brand really took time and paid very close attention to detail from the marble walls to the table set. I mean just look at these plates!
Now to scoring a table at the cafe is a whole other problem in itself since at the moment they are not taking reservations just walk-in basis only. I have read reviews where people have waited longer than 2 hours just to get a table *yikes* Hopefully by the time I decided to visit not only will the snow be gone, but also they will be taking reservations.
