When in doubt, Google

I know I cannot be thee only one with 5+ google tabs open at any given time. Often times I find myself up at 2 am googling different fashion trends I want to try or must have in my collection. I have google tabs open from the phone to the computer…I am really a professional tabber lol. Google is also great inspo source for items you want to try but need outfit ideas or an extra “push“. Quick Tip: just search the item you want to try and add “street style” after it. Nothings worst then lusting after an item and when you finally get it, you have nothing to wear it with. Here’s my current google tabs fashion edition:

 

Prada Combat Boots

These boots has been the “It” boots for the past 2 winters. If you can ever get your hands on them (currently Saks has a preorder ship date of 3/2/2021!) they are the best addition to any wardrobe. My favorite looks are with dresses and skirts. I love how the edgy/chunky sole works with feminine looks. I have been on the fence between tall and short versions, I think the most practical choice for me is short. I actually prefer the first launch of them because they was all leather. The current version is a mix of Nylon and leather.

 

Bottega Veneta Tire Boots

As second runner up, the Bottega Veneta Tire boots has been winning the hearts of fashionable people around the globe. In recent months, Bottega has been releasing a lot of heat from the infamous Stretch Sandal to the Padded Sandal and then last but definitely not least, the Lido Sandal. So it comes with no surprise that Bottega would dominate again with the Tire Boot. My favorite color combo is wax, black brown and black green.

               

 

White boots

Yes I said it, white boots! If you haven’t had a chance to see this trend in action, please tab a new window and search “white boot streetsyle”. Are you in love yet? I know what you’re thinking, white after Labor Day? but it’s 2020, live a little. I prefer a knee high white chunky heel or a white Doc Martin. Both styles will complement a sweatsuit, dress, legging with a long overcoat, jeans…I mean just everything. 

 

Leather Puffer Jacket

So while making a wishlist on the Zara app, I noticed the new spin on puffer coats. Instantly, fell in love! Who doesn’t love a good puffer or leather? Since I wasn’t fully sold on the Zara one, on one of my million trips to Target, I spotted a cropped version. It was that moment, I knew what my heart wanted. Of course the target option was sold out in my size *booooo* BUT I did find a really good one on Ambercombie! My preferred color is chocolate brown, cognac or black. 

                     

 

Shacket

This season of Keeping up with HM, I was completely blown away at their fall/winter selection. I cannot tell you the last time I shopped there. Just became so bored with them but BABY…they have won me back with this one piece. Introducing the Shacket. What is a shacket you say? It’s a shirt thick enough to be halfway between a shirt and a jacket. Genius! And if you think HM is the only place to get one, you’re wrong! All of your favorite brands are doing their version of the shacket. The HM version (which I have a love) is a dupe for the much more expensive Isabel Marant one going for $400+. If you had to get one thing from this list, please invest in a shacket, they will change your life! 

                            

 

Louis Vuitton Nice Nano 

Lately, I have been really into small leather goods (SLG) and Louis Vuitton might be the top contender. They have the cutest and affordable cardholders, coin purses and just cute accessories in general that makes a statement. Combined with my love for mini/micro bags, I came across the Nice Nano and I am currently on the hunt for it. With the latest trend for vanity/cosmetic bags to be worn as purses, I knew the Nice BB or the Nice Mini was a bit too big for my liking. Although, the Vanity PM is a beautiful bag, I still think it is a bit over priced ($2650 to be exact) for the look I am going for. This size will be so cute with a colored bag chain or a colored scarf top handle.

Balenciaga Hat

Ever just need a stylish black baseball cap to throw on for a quick store run? Yeah, yeah I know Nike makes cute ones for far less but it’s something about black and white block writing that has me sold on this hat. Been eyeing it for quite some time now but I just couldn’t see myself pulling the trigger on a “basic” hat. But here I am years later still coming back to it. Hopeful I can score this for under retail and finally have my prefect store run hat. 

Well there you have it for my current google tabs. I think this will become a normal topic here on the blog. This was fun letting you all know about what trends I am currently stalking.
